Recently we received a $9,400 grant from the William Gundry Broughton Charitable Private Foundation, Inc. for computers and technology.  This wonderful gift will allow the library to improve our services to the community in many ways – soon we will be able to offer computer classes to the public as well as movie nights.  Here is a list of some of the new items we will be getting:

  • 4 new public access computers to replace the 3 outdated computers we currently have
  • 2 laser printers, one to network the public computers and one to network the staff computers
  • A staff laptop to use for training, classes, and presentations
  • A one year public performance license to allow us to show feature films
  • A new LCD projector
  • A wireless internet network to be set up in the library
  • and more!

The new equipment will be coming throughout the fall.  Look for more announcements in the future!

Thanks again to the Broughton Foundation!!!
